Those aren't gears. They're cheap wheel bearings which should be replaced. Mine were the original Windsor 'Canada' marked bearings (31 years old) The inner bearing grease seal (no mention here?) needs demonstrating & replacing too.

In the USA do your spark plugs come with the spark plug gap already set? We have to check them here in the UK. What gap setting are yours? Thanks 👍
